In an 1813 picture book entitled Sōka Ryakuga Shiki (Drawing Plants in a Simplified Style) Masayoshi drew seven pages of plants in a very simplified way (i.e., shape only partly outlined, partly colored) and fifty-one pages of plants in a less simplified way (i.e., complete shape but reduced number of true colors). Pictures 1-51 are the less simplified plants and pictures 52-58 are the very simplified plants. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
